Concept: Located at 305 S. Congress, this high-profile site in Austin aims to become a symbol of culture, art, and innovation for the city. As part of an internal design competition within our firm, four concepts were selected to advance, including my submission. I independently developed this design concept from initial vision to final execution, ensuring a cohesive and thoughtful approach throughout.

The project was guided by five key objectives that shaped the entire vision:

1. Create spatial richness to foster dynamic and engaging environments.

2. Establish porosity to seamlessly connect the plaza with the building, encouraging interaction and accessibility.

3. Incorporate scale variation to humanize the verticality of the development and create an approachable aesthetic.

4. Relate the architecture to its context, drawing inspiration from the natural formations of the Texas Hill Country.

5. Enhance the public realm in every aspect, prioritizing community spaces and urban connectivity.
